Hatching egg- anyone seen this?

I checked on my duck's eggs today while mom was out on break, and one of them has something strange going on inside, visible through the shell somehow. It looks like a black area and a yellow area, down by the air pocket. I am new to hatching eggs, and don't know what to make of this. Do you think it's rotten? Should I get it out of there?

Yes, I'm afraid that's what a rotten egg looks like. :/ If you really want to be 100% sure you can candle it, but I'm pretty certain that it's no good. If that thing explodes you're gonna be in trouble, so best to remove it!

That's definitely a rotten dud. Get rid of it before it explodes!
