Hatching eggs ducks help

So a week ago I accidently cracked the other shell on the egg I put duck tape on and it was still living. Today is day 24. And I'm going to candle and remove dead ones however I'm stumped. Why is it a different colour in the outer shell? Is it dead or Alive? Do I leave it for lock down? Not they are bym eggs

When mine change color like that, it means they have died.

For future note, use melted wax or crayon to seal cracks. Duck tape leaches chemicals and covers to much of the egg area.
