i now have 2 newly hatched chicks looking great and doing fine so far. and the others are peeping.

Congrats! Love to hear that. Hope they all hatch for ya. Well, it seems that either works--refrigerated or room temperature. So I guess we just do what works for us. Thanks so much for the update. Now go play with those chickies!
