After a review of the swaps I am setting a LIMIT of 7 per week. PLEASE review the rules in the 1st post.

The changes are as follows

LIMIT of 7 swaps per week

1st offer must be purebred eggs. Then you may offer mixed or projects

The PAYPAL min. Has been changed to $12

The new week starts SUNDAY at 12:01 AM

The review off the swaps showed 72 swaps with 26 swappers

10 swappers had 1 swap
9 swappers had 2 swaps
2 swappers had 3 swaps
2 swappers had 5 swaps
1 swapper had 6 swaps
2 swappers had 11 swaps

This is retro-active regarding the swap limit.

I think another great rule would be 3 paypal claims in a row and then need to wait till someone else claims paypal before claiming again. As you can tell English is not my best subject, heck don't even know if I have a best subject..... So it could be worded better....... But we should have a limit on paypal claims in a row to help the thread to keep from stalling.

Another great rule would be, if a post has stalled for more than 12 hours it should be open game and even people with 7 swaps can claim it. That might be hard to moderate but just coming up with ideas to keep the best new thread on BYC cruising along!

Crazypetlady- LOVE this thread. You are doing a great job! I don't want it to become work so you don't enjoy it yourself. If there is anything we can do to help please let us know. There are plenty of people that appreciate the effort you put forth just so we can have a little fun in our LONG hard HOT days of summer.

You know you want it. Gamebirdsonly is nice as can be and has great birds. I know I am estatic that I am getting a hen choice. Super stoked!

Even that is pretty generous. Of course no one is forced to accept cash for their eggs, but if shipping only costs $10 (that's pretty low), that means you are getting $2 for the value of your eggs, the time spent packing them and driving them to the post office.

Like I said, no one would be twisting anyone's arm to take the cash, but the return is pretty low.

I agree on the paypal needing to go to $15. It also needs to be sent as a gift, otherwise the person claiming it gets fees taken out.

I shipped my first swap the other day and it was 16.00. We are supposed to ship priority with tracking, correct? (It was 12 eggs so that might have bumped it up a little)
