Hay guys I was hatching eggs and started them on march 1st and were due the 21st (yesterday) and none hatched none hatched today either. When candled there was good development. How long should I wait to crack them open to see what's inside and how long should I wait to see any hatch thanks!??

I'm on my first hatch ever right now and I have read a ton and it seems to be that if you set the eggs on the march 1 then your 21st day isn't until march 22. So they're not due to hatch til today - so give them lots of time! I'm a newbie so hopefully pros will correct me if I am wrong, but that is how I understand it to work. Good luck!!!!!!!

That's what I thought but I asked my mom and she said that the 1st is the 1st day and to the 21st would be 21 days would it change anything if they weren't turned that last day before lockdown any idea

I hope that someone with more experience will come along. The only thing I've read about that you can try is the float test so you'll see if they are moving. Try a search for "float test". I don't know too much about it. I think that the increased humidity early would be a bigger concern than not turning them, but like I said I'm a newbie just now on my 1st try! What have your temps and humidity been at and what kind of incubator are you using?

I was using a hovabator thermal air my humidity was good but temps kinda fluctuated through the nite 1-2 degrees cooler some days but the float test is to see if there edible not for incubation so.. Maybe I will get a pip any idea what that is?

No. Today is your hatch day. If you had cooler temperatures, then your hatch will be delayed. Just be patient...
