Hatching Eggs--UPDATE

I set my eggs on april 9th, and today is day 25. I have heard piping and one has a tiny hole that its pecking. The temp was up a bit high to start, am i safe?

One hatched! He is fine and alert it seems. His feathers are still wet, and he is on his haunches and legs, so he doesnt have spraddle leg. I hope none do. I hate when they have that! Another started to poke through! Ill keep you guys updated with pictures!!

By the way, i thought they would hatch early because the temp got up to 104 in early incubation, but i quickly fixed that problem.
 
Generally Spraddle Leg happens when they are put in the brooder with a slippery floor surface. We use rubber shelf liner like you use in your cabinets.
Cheap at The Dollar Store. Wash and reuse next time....

Oh i heard spraddle leg can form if the temp is too high, but not sure on that one. I am gonna use either paper towels or a bath/beach towel.
 
I have noticed spraddle leg when the temp spikes too high and or unstable temp I always see it before they are removed from the incubator never herd about the floor of the brooder (mine is pine shavings) doing anything
