I have a hen who is now laying on three eggs in the coop. If I left her, would the eggs hatch or would I need to incubate them in order for a chick to hatch? I'm new to chickens so I have lots of questions lol.

Do you have a rooster? If you have a rooster and the eggs are fertile she can hatch them just fine. I would put a mark on them so that if any more eggs get layed in her nest by other hens you can remove them. You don't want the hens to keep adding to them, it works best for the original eggs to all hatch together and not have eggs in there that are less developed etc

If you don't have a rooster of course the eggs will never hatch and are not fertile.

Yes I have a rooster! Thanks for the input! I will go in there later and mRk them so I know which ones should stay together :)
