OK, I heard peeping today! Friday night at 11pm was the start of day 21. I don't see any pipping though. Any suggestions? What do I do?

If you can hear peeping and don't see an external pip, it means the chick has done its internal pip and is breathing the air in its air cell. The external pip should be next, but it may take a bit yet. Hatching can test the patience of the best of us!

How long do we wait now?

It can take up to 24 hours to make an external pip after the chick has pipped internally. After the external pip, it can take up to another 24 hours to unzip. I haven't had to assist, so I can't make suggestions as to that.

I haven't heard any peeping since yesterday afternoon and don't see in a pipping, should I be worried? I Didn't want to pick up the egg and listen if it is going to harm it.

This is day 25. Peeping just started yesterday. No others have hatched but I did see movement in some a couple if days ago.
