Our silkie was doing so good sitting on her eggs but then stopped. We brought them inside and put under a heat lamp because she could careless lol. Anyways they looked great when she was sitting on them. I candled them and they were beautiful and growing. I read to not pick them up at a certain stage so this is the best I could get from today. This is our first time doing this. Are they dead or alive still? Each picture is a different egg.

Since Sunday, when she was on them I could see the veins and eye or whatever it was but this is what I see now. I couldn’t tell you when she hatched them it obviously was different days and I didn’t keep up with it like I should writing down wise.

I can't really tell from the pictures. You can pick up the eggs and take better photos.

They are not likely to hatch, as heat lamps are not a controlled heat source, unless you are monitoring humidity and temperature. How old are the eggs and when are they supposed to hatch?

Can you see movement in any of them?

I want to get an incubator but wasn’t sure how that would work out because I thought once you close it you can’t really open it and we only have two silkies and they each lay one egg a day so how would I put them in there daily?

If you were to get an incubator, I would wait to gather enough eggs (maximum one week), then put them all in the incubator at the same time. It would be easier that way, since all the chicks will (most likely) hatch on the same day.
