Hey guys, I have 15 pipping eggs 21 not yet pipped inside a Brinsea 56 EX. (My second hatch ever)

The first one pipped just over 15 hours ago, it's created a decent hole but nothing new in the past 12 hours.

All the other eggs have made their first crack, some have made a small hole.

I have 2 thermometers going, incubator itself says 55% humidity, the second one I put inside the bator says 68%

My valve is open all the way, I'm not tempted to help them out, but I'm wondering if there is something wrong? Reading online suggest improper ventilation, I can't open anymore valves unless I crack the lid?

Any recommendations?

Be patient. It can be many hours between external pipping and zipping. Wait for morning, then if nothing has hatched, worry and consider options.

If your vents are open it should be fine, but it's important to maintain the humidity at 65 to 70%.

Once the chicks hatch you need to pay close attention to the humidity cause it's going to spike higher which you don't want to happen.

If it goes past 70% open the incubator a little bit to release some of the humidity.

Please use your judgement on this process.

Update; I put a tiny piece a cardboard under the lid of one side, it was enough to bring the humidity down to 65%-70% and they started to hatch out.

Ended up with 22 out of 36, I think the humidity was too high the whole 21 days
