hatching eggs

how much are you buying/selling your hatching eggs for? royal palms and bronze, just looking for general idea on price per egg. thanks!

oh and how long are they good for before you set them?

Most of the time I see fertile turkey eggs going for between $2.50 and $4.00 each. Depends on where you are located. Where are you located?

I just bought a dozen Bronze hatching eggs for $10. That was for local pick-up. I'm sure he'd charge more if they were needing to be packed for shipping.

im in NC. yeah i thought $3 was a fair price

im trying to figure prices for guineas too, i know this isnt the section but im not getting any response from over there. i got lavendar and whites.

so at three dollars each would you sell them by the half or whole dozen?

if i were selling to someone who wanted just one of the breeds, id probably only be able to sell half dozen at a time, because i wouldnt be able to collect a dozen eggs in the time frame for the eggs to still be good to set. i have a pair of each for the turkeys, so if someone wanted half and half i could do the dozen.
i have read so many opinions on how long turkeys eggs are kept before setting, i really dont know what to go with to be safe. is it 10 days like a chicken? i know i have read some people keep them much longer and still have good hatches.
