I just hope they do hatch
Im so inpatient at this stage:/ I keep looking in the view window and just see them doin there wiggles
My sleep pattern is messed up lol goin to bed xtra late check on the eggs 4-5 hrs later have another look and then get back up to look again ha ha:lol: its unreal
I dont want them to pass on me . My favourite quail that layed these eggs passed away on me last week and I hope her baby's make it . ( she was so friendly and just sat on ny hand for a pet :(

Just be patient I think your incubator temperature is low. What is your current incubator temperature?

Hi alex . Thanks for the response . Its at 100f at the mo now . Im having a awful time with humidity . I lost 5 in total 3 quail and a silkie and a french black copper maran due to the humidity . All the rest are great . More quail due to hatch in the next day so hopefully

Ok just keep this in mind next time you hatch. If the chicks start hatching early temp is to high. If the chicks start hatching late temp is to low. And just follow these tips to help you with getting chicks out on the correct date. Good luck !

Please help! I have 4 dewlap Toulouse eggs in the incubator, 3 have externally pipped this is the second day for one other two pipped yesterday one I believe is a quitter I have seen no movement, my question is how long until they start zipping, and when or should I help at all, humidity has been 65 to 71 temp is 100, I am rather worried about the one that has been pipped going on two days!

It is day 31 in the incubator

Pick the oldest one or the one think is dead and put it against your egg and flick the egg and see if oh hear pipping at the egg or if you can see the beak moving around the egg. If I were you I would go ahead and help them hatch. Even the ones that started yesterday, it only takes a chick 12 hours to hatch out of a egg

One had pipped upside down, I turned it over and there was a bunch of yellow coming out of the pipped hole the gosling is still moving its beak but not made a bigger hole, the one that pipped last has made a bigger hole and is getting busy, all threes beaks are moving and peeping, I think I may make the zip for them today thanks a bunch this is my first time hatching goslings, a few of my chicks that I thought were having a hard time I made the zipper with my thumb nail and I only lost one

Ok I helped the one that pipped upside down he wasn't dry but he is awful big, I hope he is ok, I am going to help the one that pipped first now
