hi unsure of wot to do my first chick hatched 5 days ago in the incubatar and i have one egg left it doesnt seem to be doing anything and i cant hear any noise do you think this is dead or there is still a chance it could hatch ?
Did you candle the eggs during incubation to see if they are developing? I think at this stage it's very unlikely that it will still hatch, but stranger things have happened. Candle the egg to see what it looks like. If it's completely dark, except for the air sac it's got a chick in there and it may or may not still be alive. If you think it may be viable, make a smallish hole right at the tip of the fat end of the egg, take a wet q-tip and dampen the membrane that covers the chick and see if it responds.
