Not sure where to ask this but, I have someone that wants 100 chicken hatching eggs, and I don't know what to charge them. They are mixed and more that likely will contain at least some RIR. I was thinking $10 per 20 eggs, which adds up to $50 for 100. It that to high or what I am lost on this one. Thanks in advance to anyone with advice.

You're considering $.50 an egg for unknowns. That's fair. Perhaps you might consider a bit more, if your buyer is willing. Perhaps $.75 or $.80 an egg to help cover your feed costs. That's probably where I'd point. I suppose if you were selling them for eating, they'd be around $.20 an egg, so you're making a lot more.

We sell eggs from exhibition quality, bred to Standard birds for $2. an egg, if that helps.

Things are worth what people are willing to pay. See where your buyer's head and wallet are at.
