Hatching Embden Geese, eggs in lockdown but no peeping!

Hi everyone! I was gonna post a new thread til I found this one. I need help too! I have 4 embden/tufted Roman cross goose eggs in my little giant still air. Set on April 9th. Yesterday they internally pipped, rocking alot and when I talk to them they honk back! Humidity is 80-85%, when can I expect an external pip?? I'm worried they may run out of air, I really want them to hatch on their own, I don't want to assist them unless absolutely nessacery! First time hatching goose eggs. Thanks!!

I'm thinking about hatching my Embden goose's eggs this year because she never seems to get broody, when I leave the eggs she will leave them to rot, she has a nest and a very protective husband but never seems to take to the eggs first time hatching eggs and they would be pure Embdens.

Hi all,
I set 5 eggs and three hatched on day 28. Of the two remaining: one still has movement today (day 32) and the other no longer has movement. Neither has pipped and I have never heard peeping from either.

Other than leaving them until the 35th day, any thoughts or suggestions?

This is my first time hatching geese.

Goslings do sometimes give up (its common for large breeds to go to day 32-35) but there are so may things to consider. Smell is your first weapon if it smells like its gone its gone No smell then Candling is your next best weapon. Is there movement no external pip you can water candle? If there is use a sharp screw and open the outside air to the air cell very carefully (internal pips dont always look like one in candle) once the have fresh air into the air cell you should here a peep if you dont then its time to investigate farther. Slowly pealing back the shell.
This year I have had to assist in many hatches sometimes I overreacted most of the time did the right thing. My situation is a little different though. I am breeding a Heavy weight gander to a medium weight goose.
