I have some pekins / cochin bantams and would rather like to get some geese eggs to hatch would the size make this a problem? Does anyone have any experience of this?

Do you mean you want to incubate them together?
If so- I have done that and it worked out fine. Just keep in mind the different number of days, and that the goose eggs need to lay on their sides and take up a lot of room.

I think there is a "sticky" on hatching at the top of this section with hatching tips...

if you are asking if the hens could sit the goose eggs, yes 1 egg only because of their size. The egg will be a lot of work for a bantam hen to sit, turn and maintain.

I meant the second, thanks very much both of you!!!!
