Hatching guinea eggs with chicken eggs

Has anyone had success with this. In a book I read they said it might decrease hatch rate for the guinea? It said to add them on day 7 of the hatch. Thank you

i have hatched guineas and chicks together without any problems. just put the chicken eggs in 7 days after the guinea eggs. guineas take 28 days and chicks 21

Did you do anything to get the eggs up to the temp of the incubator or just let them get to room temp? Thank you

I leave them at room temperature until I add them to the incubator.
