Hatching Guinea Pigs

Yes that is what I said. Went to a birthday party the other day. Brought a 19 year old girl and her boyfriend to the house so I could turn eggs. They asked what they were. So I replied they are guineas. They both smiled and at the same time said, We love guinea pigs.

I said you have got to be kidding me. These are guinea fowl. They are birds. Guinea pigs do not hatch. They said we thought they hatched.

. I swear on my life that is what they thought. I had to tell them they are born alive like dogs, cats, etc.

I have heard it all now. Gotta love some of these young peole. Just thought I would give everyone a laugh like I got that day. Unbelievable.

Had a 13 yr old say the same thing. I asked him did you not learn about mammals in science, he said no. Maybe kids don't listen but I learned it in school. Oh well
