I have 10 guinea eggs in an incubator. I was not due to set the eggs until July 6th but I have one hatching right now. I have stopped the turner but do I remove? I would think the new keat would get hurt if I leave it in.

Guinea eggs being hatched under perfect conditions can hatch from day 26 through day 28. If the temperature was running a little on the high side, they can easily start hatching on day 25. The other possibility is that incubation had already started before you put the eggs in the incubator.

You can remove the turner. You can also raise your humidity to whatever range works for you during lockdown.

Thank you. These poor eggs have had a rough time. We lost power and the next morning the temp had dropped to 80 deg so my husband took them to work and plugged them in under his desk. Then we went to Farmers Supply to buy a generator and when the clerk slid it in the back he turned the incubator to a 45 deg angle. I caught it pretty quickly but I wondered if any would hatch after all this.
