hatching help

Trying to hatch Turkey eggs (White Beltsville). Nova Scotia Canada, Have had some success. Is it necessary to set the newly laid egg in a cool area prior to putting it in the incubator. If I collect a warm egg from the hen can I put it directly in the incubator or does it have to be set in a cool area first them brought to room temp????
