Hatching help!

This was such a nerve wracking experience for me. The others are on a terror right now! I can count at least 8 more eggs that have really poked big holes in their shells.

The little guy is resting on top of one of the eggs (most likely the next to hatch). It's normal for them to sleep after hatching right? He moved around for a while but now he's sleeping.

Alot of work hatching is, so of course it's resting up. I can't imagine what it must be like to hatch in a bator, hatching under a duck is stressful enough. what breed are you hatching?

These are all white pekin.

Their mama was taken by coyotes.

UPDATE: The little guy who came out first is doing just fine! He is lively and playing with his brothers and sister in my homemade bator. 4 are out and drying. 5th is on his way out. 4 more are hard at work inside their shells. I expect more to come.

What a miracle it would be if all 15 of these eggs hatch. In a homemade incubator?! Someone must be watching over these little guys.
