Hey so this is my first hatch and I bought this incubator from a friend of a friend but it's very small (can only fit 3 Aylesbury eggs) and the tray which holds the eggs has quite large holes in it. I know you're meant to keep the duckling in there for 12 hours for it to dry out, but in worried that it will get its feet stuck or injure itself as most other incubators seem to have small mesh like trays. If it could possibly injure itself would it be better to put straight into the brooder? I only have one egg in there as the other two weren't fertile. It's day 25 today!
