To update everyone on the results of my DYI incubator and 13 Cochin bantam eggs. As of this morning all 13 chickens hatched out and are in the brooder. Pic was taken when I went to transfer the chicks. Even had a breach chick, it was the last 1 to catch also. These 13 were locally picked up, so I now have 10 same breed eggs that I brought off of eBay that I'm going to give a whirl, 4 had moving airsack upon arrival. I let them settle and put in a second DYI incubator 4 days ago. So let's see how eBay eggs go.

Update on eBay eggs: $23.70 down the drain. Most had detached air cells, one was cracked, 2 were porous, and none were viable by day 5. Going to pick up some new eggs Friday. I just can't stop.
