I have a first grade class and I was considering hatching in the classroom. I have hatched at home before but that was a long time ago, and my old incubator is long gone. I don't want to go out and spend a lot of money on an incubator with an autoturner if I only plan to hatch a few times a year. Can anyone tell me, if I turn the eggs several times a day on the weekdays and just let the eggs sit on the weekend, will they be alright?

If the eggs are in a incubator you can turn them in the morning and before you leave they should be fine. They will probably be fine over the weekend too .

Don't forget to have a place to send them after they hatch

Our school has a very nice greenhouse/garden and the science coach has already requested some ducklings and quail, so we're good to go on the getting rid of them front.

then you should be fine to hatch some it will be fun for everyone.
