I just did. You mean the outer membrane? It had not so I helped it. I made a tiny hole in. It is steady trying to pip.

Whew. He is carrying on pokey pokey. Thank you for giving me the courage to do that! I also put a little coconut oil on for good measure.

Great...don't block the hole he is breathing through.

My ducks didn't hatch until a good 34 HOURS after the made the first external pip....
so be patient.
Don't do too much.
Just wait and watch.
