Hatching indian runner

Sorry

Sorry for late reply. Having some problems with my phone. After checking all the other eggs,( 5 eggs) 4 never finished developing and 1 died almost fully developed. The one that was pipping broke though last night but was having problems so we had to help it. We chipped away at the egg so slow. It was shrink wrapped. Had a lot of stuff stuck to him. We got most off and put him in in warm brooder to let him dry. This morning he was moving and chirping but I realized he was stuck to the rag under him. So we got warm wet rag and got him unstuck. We again got as much off with out pulling it off. Still some stuck. He can't move his 1 wing. I was told get dawn detergent and soak a sponge in soapy water and it'll come off. Going to store now to get some. I'll try post a pic. He seems ok besides that but I don't know. I think this incubator is messed up. It's new but we realized last night the temperature thing didn't change after opening the incubator. We kept it set at 99.5. we put another temp gauge in there and it was 10 degrees off, so it was actually 89.5. it's new incubator so i didn't think anything would be wrong with it. I should of double checked it no matter what. Thank you again for all your help
Warm water and go gently
That hoo dries like cement but eventually if you keep working you will get it off
The incubator gages are rarely correct
I always use calibrated ones inside and go by them
Same with the hygrometers

Yesterday I didn't think he'd make it. We kept making him stand but he'd fall down and couldn't hold his head up. This morning he's sitting up, drinking water but has splayed leg. I fixed one duck before with this issue and he's doing good so I'm going to do this one now he's moving better.

He will be lonely now
You can put a stuffy and a mirror in to help with that
But I would look local to see if anyone has little ones you could get a friend for him
He is adorable
Yeah, I've been calling places around here to find a couple baby ducks. I thought his leg was spayed but after helping him stand longer he started walking all around. Do you think i should take him out of the brooder box. I'm worried cause it's still air incubator/brooder and don't want to cause any issues. He's been though a lot lol. Thank you again

You can take him out to cuddle him
This would still keep him warm
I don’t Keep my ducklings in the incubator past 4 hours usually

Sorry to keep bothering you with questions lol. I have 6 indian runner ducks, 2 I got from tractor supply just happened to be male and female. I had no issues raising them and then Queen hatched eggs was a great mom so I didn't have to do much. This one that survived in incubator seems be doing great thanks to everyone's help on here. I did notice he's having looks like green watery poo I guess. I think Queenie and Chief had green poo when they were few days old but can't remember. Is it normal. Seeing how he had a difficult time, I was worried. Also his umbilical was bloody and swollen but kept it clean and looks better. It's black scab now. I'm hoping the green stuff isn't coming from that. Is green normal if it is poo at almost 2 days old. Again, sorry to keep asking questions. Just want to make sure he's ok before I put 2 more ducklings with him. Thanks again.

It’s normal to have a yellow ish runny poo
They won’t get to be better looking until they start to eat regularly
The yolk will be what he is pooping out now
You can take a picture and we can help you
