today our 2nd attempt at hatching chicks finally succeeded! As of now we have 2 of 5 eggs hatched. Question- there are 2 that are definately alive b/c the eggs are moving but haven't hatched yet. it's been that way since before 7am. Everything we've read says not to help the chicks out of the shell. Should we anyway b/c it's taking this long or do chicks really take over 12hrs to break out?
