I am hatching 5 khaki eggs I have the humidity at 80-81% is that ok or should I bring it down today 2 have internally pipped I did lockdown on Monday, day 25. My temp is also at 98. I put a Tupperware bowl in with a paper towel and water to keep humidity up. Any advice or anything I should change before they externally pip?

I don’t usually go that high for hatching
65-75 range but mine did jump this last time to 80 and mine did fine
But that’s after some hatched it jumped
If you can get it a little lower as it will spike when they hatch

If not it’s better higher then lower
I brought the humidity down to 77 I candled them quickly one of the air sacks now looks very small is that normal the duck is dropped down and the bill is in the air sack

Once baby moves into the air cell it looks smaller cause it’s got baby in there
I do see the beak :)

I just got home I have a third one that is making more progress then the 2 this morning. They haven’t made a bigger pip it’s the same size as it was 8 hours ago.
I notice 8-12 hours after first pip they make a second pip
I have had one pip then zip at 8 hours
That was really fast
Most are around 24-36 hours
Some a bit longer
i can’t wait to see pics when they hatch :)
