Hello, all, I am new to the business. I just got a new octagon incubator, 10 mustcuvy eggs and 14 chicken eggs. Can I set them all at the same time in the bator? How to deal with the different humility when the chicks are hatching and the ducks will need more days to go?
Thanks.

I don't know if that would work out. I know ducks have a longer gestation period than chickens - plus their need for humidity might be different. You might want to post this question on one of the duck threads. You can locate them at "Other backyard poultry" forum. I know they do staggered hatches with chickens - where some eggs are started a week or two ahead of the next batch but, that can be chaos - when they have to stop turning and go to lockdown.

It would really be better and easiest if you have two incubators- so each gets their needs meet with no shortcuts.
