Hatching My Own Eggs!!

So I really would like to Get my own roo and start hatching eggs this summer or fall. I really don't understand alot about the turning and incubating and things. I was wondering if someone might could give me a few tips of how to get started. I was also wondering if I needed to keep the breeds full blooded and if chickens themselves actually sold well. I live in Mt. Pilot, NC and yes it is the one from Andy Griffith!!

I usually let me hens do all the work... I just introduce a boy and well... yeah you know! LOL

Right now I am trying to hatch sonew123's eggs I got from her.... its just an odd situation that's all.

In the spring, get you a nice rooster... always some on Craigslist!
