Good morning I have a few questions about hatching my runner ducks. Ive done some research and some sites say that runner ducks take 28.5 days to hatch some say 35 days. Anyone have better idea? I have 26 eggs in this batch day 28 will be next week Thursday I dont want to mess it up by taking them out of the turner to soon. I have candled the eggs twice during incubation so far for my nieces and nephews love to check it out. We have noticed the progress and are getting excited. :-). Another question I have is I have some eggs that I put in several days after the majority of them around 4 or 5 days maybe 6 will these eggs be ok out of turner for duration of others hatching as long as I turn them by hand. Im also very new to hatching runner ducks is there anything special or different I should know about?? I thank you ahead of time for your help and hope someone can shed a little light on process for me.

It's best not to overly handle the eggs, they are easy to drop. Also every time the incubator is opened, it looses humidity. You would be best served by posting on the duck threads at "Other Backyard Poultry,", I really don't know much about ducks.
