hatching on cam! Live, now!

Due to an extended temp spike (I think I need to replace the wafer in my hova) they are hatching a day early. There's already 6 or so pips and you can see one on the egg in the back, one row over from the left and on one in the same row in the front. Right below the end of the x.

Hey, people, this is really cool, and there are several of us from BYC watching and chatting! I've never hatched eggs (that's a when I have a life of my own project) but I'm going to keep my eye on this!

Bump! 2 out and I see at least a pip on every egg but the 2 blue standard eggs and one bantam egg.

the one there with the pip is really getting knocked around!

I don't know, maybe that helps the chick inside... gives him encouragement.

I have mine in cartons.

Mahonri, you should have seen the one chick that hatched last night, he kept jostling the eggs around, Akane said he was peeping like crazy, and the eggs were answering! He definitely wanted company.
