Hatching Polish Xs?

My polish crosses are hatching!!! Got 2 pips on day 20 right now. My question is, do they automatically get their poofy heads, or is it more 50/50 that they'll get them depending on whether they take after their mom or their dad? mom's a white crested black polish and dad's a brahmaXGLW.

Depends on the quality of the Polish parent. Some have pretty small or poor crests which may or may not pass on, some have decent to great crests and/or vaulted skulls that aid in the chances. In most cases you should get small crests, practically tufts of feathering coming out the top, but I have indeed gotten some normal looking offspring from lesser crested Polish.

i don't know if she's considered a decent crest or not...? I just know she can barely see sometime, lol! this is her.

This is how most of our x's have turned out. They all have small crests not really polish looking at all.
