Hatching problems

Here is the update! Hatching started last night with 11 of the 16 hatched!
However the new eggs that I am using do not seem to be fertile any longer. I had a friend bring me a older rooster that beat up my young fertile one. So now the older one is shooting blanks, and the young one won't go near the hens. Time for the old one to go. Any suggestions on what kind of soup to make?
