Hatching Q on mailed eggs - Ayam Cemani

YES please do keep us posted on your hatch :) I too am.very curious to see what those top eggs turn out as (even silkie eggs are smaller and cream, at least that's what my 1 silkie lays).

I think, from now on, that is what I will be doing. I resell clothes and things over Ebay, so I was excited at first when I saw the ability to bid on HATCHING eggs... but it's losing its luster with me after a couple of incidents already.

The eggs were shipped in two separate boxes (two separate auctions). One box contained three, cream-colored, small Cemani eggs. The other box contained three, large darker eggs. The seller admitted that it was possible that one box contained silkie/cemani cross hybrids, since that one particular auction was for 2+ Cemani OR 3+ Silkie/Cemani crosses (I was given the choice) I'm thinking they just forgot... but the seller told me to let them know how the hatch went with those three odd eggs. If silkie crosses hatch, they'd send me three pure Cemani eggs. Granted, a Cemani/Silkie cross does sound kind of cool.
Cemani/silkie does sound cool. Add in a turken gene for a cemani show girl and you may be onto something...lol
