hatching quail eggs for the first time

I do! They are sooooo cute and funny! They already know my hand and voice and they get all in a tizzy when they see it. Lol
They drink a lot of water for little ones, I have to keep refilling their little marble drinking caps.

I just had 3 quails hatch and we can see 2 more eggs breaking! It's extremely exciting for me and my two little kids. However, I was totally not prepared for this. See we found a quail nest on our patio and at first everything seemed fine until one morning I woke up to a lot of feathers and no quail mama so of course I told my kids we would try to incubate. I went with them to Home Depot got a heat lamp for 12$ and made sure the lamp was giving 98-100* That brings us to today I'm not prepared so I need help I did the basic water with marbles and I hard boiled an egg and chopped it up I didn't know what else to do... please give me advice - thank you! Btw my little girl called the first one Heidi because it was trying to hide-my girl is 5 and I thought that was very cute:)

Coturnix.
I just noticed that my smallest chick has really long middle toes but its pinky toes are small and curl slightly inward, it doesn't seem to impare its movement since he's a fast little bugger but I am worried it might bother him when it's older.

So my chicks are losing their baby feathers and all their breasts are naked... I hope this is normal and they don't have some funky disease or something. Please tell me this is normal
