JJ,
Question on this thread for you. If you start high 101 or have a spike of 102 in a still air , and then level out to your 100.5 for the rest of hatch, will things work out? Or will the 102 have killed the embryo? Obviously asking from recent incidents of my own...
Tonyadont Quote Me On It But I Believe Lethal Heat Is When The Embryo Reaches 105. Something? Sustained For A While... Like At Least A 1/2 Hr??? I Dont Recall Specifics But Thats Fairly Close... Remember Bator Temp Does Not Necessarily Equal Internal Embryo Temp... Takes Quite Some Time For The Internal Embryo Temps To Equal Out With Incubator Temps.... How Long Depends On Humidity And Egg Size As Well As Other Wildcards Like Shell Density Etc, Etc, Etc...
Hwever Temp Spikes Of Sufficient Duration At Just The Right Time During Chick Formation Will Result In Foot/ Leg Deformities And Overall The Hotter You Cook 'em The Earlier They Will Hatch. And Dont Go Thinking You Can Speed Up Your Business Model Here... Premature Always Has Troubles Attached
