Hatching question

Hi , my first ever batch of duck eggs are in an incubator and as of 1 am this morning I have a duckling none of the other 5 eggs seem to be doing anything yet. How long do I leave the duckling in the incubator?

At least 12 hours since you are waiting for others to hatch.

It might just be way faster than the rest.

I wouldn't keep it in there for longer than 24 hours.

Thank you I’ve never done this before and I was worried about him being in there. This is possibly a silly question but does one hatching encourage the others?

yes! The peeping of the early one will help to encourage the rest.
