hatching red legged patridge

Are there problems with hatching red legged partidge eggs under a broody bantam hen? They are due to hatch in the next couple of days. Also what do I feed them? Are chick crumbs suitable?

If you can get non-medicated it would be better for your chicks. Game birds over all have a harder time with the medication. It can cause kidney damage, especially if you feed it to them for more than a few weeks. If you are in the situation as I am now where your feed stores all have quit carrying a non-medicated crumble, then only feed for 4 weeks than switch to a non-medicated grower
