Hi all! I just completed my first hatch of Swedish Flowers last week with great success. I have Salmon Faverolles due to hatch at the end of next week. They were originally in a Brinsea Mini Advance, but I was having terrible trouble with the humidity... it was way too high! 70% no matter what I tried. Lots of condensation. So, I moved the eggs over to the Brinsea Maxi ii Advance and have tried to keep the humidity down around 40% to try and correct for air cell size. I had 6 eggs and lost only 1 due to a blood ring early on. The others seem quite active! My question is for anyone that has hatched faverolles... should I expect an early hatch because of my humidity issues? The eggs themselves seem to be on the small side, which might also indicate an early hatch. Any tips or tricks? This will be my second hatch ever.

It totally does - thank you. I've been checking on air cell size since fixing the humidity. Hoping for the best!

We hatched SF in June and I wanted to warn you not to use chips for atleast a week or 2. Lots of poopy butts for us and that just meant more work. We'll be using hatch mats in our brooder from now on. But they were good hatchers and adorable chics. Best of luck.
