Hello,
I have Pekins and am getting a late start in building an incubator. What is the hatching season for the greater Charlotte area for Pekins?
If I set my eggs this week, with a hatch in 28 days about the end of October, I am committed to supplying heat until at leat 8 weeks. But what about after that?
Let's say I have a hatch and keep the ducks warm until about 8 weeks at the end of October then put them in the duck area with the parents, who were born last spring. Will they be able to survive alright?
I am new to ducks/poultry. I got my first Pekins in March and have been enjoying them since then.
