hatching silkie

im incubating silkie eggs that i got from ebay .can anyone tell me how long it takes for silkies to hatch . im on day 21

and cant wait .

21 days! That's all it takes. I just finished a hatch..first eggs hatched on day 20 last to hatch was day 24. Most was on day 21. I had 24 Silkie eggs, 16 got got from an auction off of BYC. Out of the 16 eggs 10 were clear, 1 had a chick start but died in the egg after about a week, and one the chick was developing but the egg cracked at day 14..BIG crack! Tried to seal the cracks, but more kept popping and it smelled so had to toss it. 4 of the 16 hatched...one hatched this morning on day 24 but died with in 30 minutes...don't know why. So from now on I will find local eggs! No more shipped eggs for me! Hope you have better luck...some do! Please keep posting your progress!

Its day 22 now and no sign of anything . i didnt have any luck with my first batch but on day 23 i had my little blue silkie hatch , she had splayed legs and only 9 toes.

i fed her for days and nights but she sadly passed away at 1 week old . I think i will get my eggs from a farm next time. will keep you posted !.
