I have silkies on day 22 with no signs at all of hatching. I candled last night and they are all alive. I have been hatching Ameraucana with no problem and they always start pipping on day 20 or 21. I had a bad experience waiting out some marans last hatch that all died in their shells. Do silkies tend to take a bit longer by your experience? Temps and humidity have been good and in range. It's making me so nervous.

From what I have heard they tend to hatch earier, rather than later. But maybe your temps. where low so they are hatching late.

Hmm I guess it's time to replace my thermometers. I can never trust them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Not a single one. Had eggs from two different breeders so I think it was my incubator humidity settings. I was having trouble getting it high enough. The chicks were mostly all developed and should've hatched. : (
