Hatching svart hona chicks

Hi,

im just wondering if anyone can help me out with a little information about svart honas.
im wondering if this breed takes a little longer to hatch than the regular “21 days”

any info would be greatly appreciated thanks!

This says the chicks are in no hurry to get out of their shell...

I just hatched out some Svart Hona's and they were really different than my other chicks. There was NO peeping or wiggling of the eggs. And I had to help two of them out of the shell which with other birds was a death sentence but not with these. Both chicks would have died had I not helped them. I don't know if the shells were especially thick, if it's normal for them but they had a difficult and lengthy hatch. But more interesting to me is that they turned out to be the most active, loud and freakishly manic chicks I have ever had. They are two weeks old now and have a few saphire gem and dominiqe friends and are clearly very different in personality. Curious how yours turned out.
