My friend who got me started on incubating followed his grandmother's advice about the hatching stage. She told him to keep turning until he heard a cheep and then to splash the eggs with warm water now and again to keep them moist - no measuring the humidity and keeping the lid closed at all!! He did this and with 3 hatches has had 100% success rate.
What do you all think about this? I am on day 18 and I have put sponges in and plan not to open but I wonder if his way might be better.
