Hatching Today 4-15 Support Thread *** PICS

I'm on day 19 on a variety of 29 eggs. I have one little thing pipping, everybody else is quiet. (Except my 6 year old dd, she is crying for unknown reasons in the other room, sounds like nothing is really wrong though....)

The one pipping is a phoenix.

Been restless today, waiting......waiting.

Well one of mine hatched......now if I just now what it was. I can not find any record of these 5 eggs in my book and they are not wyndottes!

One of the BRs just hatched, poor little thing got a serious workout trying to get out. Another BR has pipped.

Go little Hawkeye babies! Keeping fingers crossed that every one of them hatches, Christine. I'm going to have to go to bed soon. This day has been one I'd rather forget and my brain is fried. Hope to wake up to a bunch of baby pics!

We now have four hatched and three pipped. I have to admit I slept on the loveseat near the bator. They made an awful racket all night long.

One has a small piece of shell stuck to it's back along with some dried goo. Later when I take them out what should I do to get it off? Or should I just let it be and hope if falls off on it's own?
