Hatching Torpedo Eggs

I bought a pair of silver laced cochins recently to hatch chicks from. She has recently started to lay and her eggs are serious torpedos smaller around then pullet eggs and 1 1/2 as long. I have gotten 4 eggs so far will this straighten out or should I attempt to hatch a couple and see what happens?

I'd wait for it to straighten out, because I'm pretty sure it will. I had a couple of those show up too, but none since then.

There's always some kinks to work out in the system when the pullets first start laying.

I 2nd that wait for a while let them get to laying good. She will get better with time.
