We were without power for 4+ days after multiple tornado hits. I tried to run the big incubator on a 400 watt inverter but that took the truck running almost 24/7. No way to get more fuel I had to come up with something else. I crammed about 10 dozen eggs in to a still air LG. That I could keep warm for about 4 hours on the truck battery before having to run the truck a bit. That still let it cool at night when we slept but kept it warm most of the time. Saturday I borrowed another LG an moved the eggs that were ready to hatch in to it. Most hatched yesterday despite all the cold time an the over crowding/stacking of a still air incubator.

Here are the ones I hatched off grid. There in the big incubator drying while the brooder warms back up some.
