I have a ducklingbthat has hatch 24 hours before the others should I be taking it out of the incubator now or wait for 48hours? It looks tired and don’t want to stress it out? I’ve heard the can live 48hours after hatching? I just don’t want it to dehydrate and die of thirst?

Have you got a nice warm brooder ready? How long has the duckling hatched?
It hatched about 26 hours out of its shell. Pipped about 48hours ago. Yep the brooder is at around 32 degrees ready and waiting. The other eggs are only just pipping now. I think the others will be out by morning (12 hours from now)

Move it on over to the brooder! Of course we need pictures too! If you have a small stuffed animal or a small towel it can cuddle with.
