whne u candle them what do u look for when u are trying to see if the chick is in the air sack yet? Becausse i candled them and i can c there foot move .so what should it look like before they are about to hatch?
 
*I* usually look for an enlarging air sac with the middle of the egg filled with a dark, solid mass. (Don't recall actually seeing the chick "in the air sac" unless you're just talking about movement--maybe someone else has.) I also look at the pointed end to see the yolk sac (it'll look kinda empty). So long as you don't see a floating bubble (rotten egg) but rather movement of the embryo, you should be good to go! (Should be harder to see veining, too, because the chick is taking up more room)

They should start peeping the day they're hatching--especially when you spray them with water.
